In June Cliff, Don L and Ben set out with their Land Cruisers to explore the desert and mountains of central Nevada between Austin and Tonopah. We found hot springs, ghost towns and old gold mines. We had to dig a snow bank off the road to get through in one place. Got stuck in the mud and had to turn back in one spot where the road was washed out.
