We (Don L (from Oregon), Vince (from WY), Duc, and myself) started with Sand Hollow and Toquerville Falls near St George. After a couple of days we headed down to the Whitmore trailhead on the Grand Canyon, Arizona where we camped for one night. From there it was up to Kanab and across to the White House Campground to camp for the night. At Big Water we turned into Glen Canyon NRA and caught Smoky Mt Rd to Left Hand Collet Rd to Hole-in-the-Rock Rd and then north to UT-12. We stayed in Hanksville and explored from Hanksville over to the Factory Butte area and from there we went in the south end of the San Rafael Swell and came out at Little Wild Horse by Goblin Valley. On the way to I-70 from Goblin Valley the large crankshaft pulley bolt came loose and shattered the plastic engine fan causing a number of leaks in the radiator. We towed Vince’s Cruiser to the Green River KOA.
We had some excitement that requiring winching our Cruisers in a couple of places. We also rescued 4 ladies in a truck with two flat tires north of the Mt Trumbull Schoolhouse, and gave some gas to a couple at the Whitmore Trailhead. Oh, and we repaired Vince’s radiator after a bolt under the hood tried to escape.
Of the 136 photos, Duc supplied 28 and Don and Vince 2 each.
